Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgery Spotlight: Amanda Steele, PhD

The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford School of Medicine proudly supports individuals who pursue advanced degrees, including a master's degree or doctorate, while in practice, training, or residency at Stanford. Collaboration with campus departments and their graduate programs have included Bioengineering, Epidemiology and Population Health, and Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Steele is a former postdoctoral research fellow in Dr. Joseph Woo's laboratory. She received her PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford’s Department of Bioengineering in 2019.
