2010 Shumway Lecture: Cardiovascular Medicine by Michael J. Mack

Michael Mack, MD, Director of Cardiovascular Research and Cardiovascular Medicine of the Heart Hospital Baylor Plano and Director of Cardiovascular Surgery for the Baylor Healthcare System, spoke at the third annual 2010 Norman E. Shumway, MD, Visiting Professorship Lecture on May 14, 2010. He presented his talk entitled, “Cardiovascular Medicine: A Joint Mission.”

The Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic features distinguished scientists and surgeons at its Norman E. Shumway, MD, Visiting Professorship Lecture Series in coordinated presentations. Since 2008, this series has showcased lectures by renowned visiting faculty who are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
