Free, 5 Minute USB PhoneCharger Fix

This video shows you how to fix a failed USB connector on your cell phone for free, if you have a can of contact cleaner for electronics. I have a Samsung but the USB ports are all the same, so this method should work on all of them. My USB port had stopped working when I plugged it in for charging and everyone was telling me to get an external charger w/ extra batteries, or replace the port in the phone, or etc. First, I sprayed and brushed all of the connectors, then use a thin blade to slightly lift the 2 flat pieces of metal on the top of the USB cable connector, and that was it. Now its snug when I plug it in and works perfectly. Total cost was Free, total time -5 minutes.
