Battery Acid's on the Floor! How to Stay Safe?

The Extremes of pH. We deal with pH every day without understanding the mechanics or chemistry of what's actually happening, until it's to late.
Today, I'm showing a co-worker about the dangers of Strong Battery Acid (pH 0) and how he can Protect himself from it, by Neutralizing acid using it's opposite, on the pH Scale (Strong Alkali or Base), which is Soda Ash, or Caustic Soda, or Lye powders.
A milder form that's readily available in most homes, is Baking Soda, which will also Neutralize Acid.
