Optimus Prime Voice Actor Peter Cullen Discusses How He Began His Career at TFcon LA 2023

Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers Generation One, Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Rescue Bots, and the live-action Transformers films talks about how he began his career during his panel at TFcon LA.

Peter Cullen is s a Canadian voice actor. He is well-known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980's Transformers series often referred to as Transformers Generation One or "G1" for short. Peter Cullen also spent many years performing the voice of Eeyore in The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and many of the Winnie-the-Pooh film and television specials. He would later return to the Transformers franchise as Optimus Prime in the live action films including 2018's Bumblebee, as well as the Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) animated series.
