Transformers Optimus Prime voice actor Peter Cullen says one of the hardest things he did as a voice actor was saying no to monster voices and how performing monster voices have affected his voice. He then goes on to discuss Frank Welker's dripping faucet prank, Chris Latta performing as Starscream, and the trash can fire in the studio.

Peter Cullen is a Canadian voice actor. Before retiring from the above-mentioned monster voices, he could be heard as King Kong (1976) and the original voice of the Predator. He is well-known as the voice of Optimus Prime in the original 1980's Transformers series often referred to as Transformers Generation One or "G1" for short. Peter Cullen also spent many years performing the voice of Eeyore in The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, and many of the Winnie-the-Pooh film and television specials. He would later return to the Transformers franchise as Optimus Prime in the live action films including 2018's Bumblebee, as well as the Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) animated series.
