‘Footsteps In The Dark, Pts. 1 & 2’ by The Isley Brothers was released on April 16, 1977 as part of the group's double-platinum fifteenth studio album ‘Go For Your Guns’. It was written, composed and arranged by Ernie Isley and The Isley Brothers; who all also co-produced the track along with Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff. It was later released as the B-side to their 1978 single ‘Groove with You", which reached number 16 on the R&B singles chart. The track has since been covered multiple times and is often sampled in R&B and Hip Hop music and was also featured in the 2008 video game ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’.
