We are back to the same run each day throughout the week to develop your mental endurance at running for extended periods. Last week was coastal running; this week we are headed to Brisbane. You should be proud of your achievements to date!
Week 7: All three runs are set along the Brisbane River, City Loop.
Warm up: brisk 5-minute walking.
Activity: 25 minute easy paced running
Cool Down: easy 5-minute walking

Hi, I'm Michael. I'm an average runner (in his mid 50s) that has had many injuries and illness that have forced me to recommence my fitness journey; sometimes years later! I’ve made these videos as I have completed many C25K runs during my last two rehabilitations using the treadmill or elliptical.
*** IMPORTANT POINTS ****
The RUNNING PHASES throughout the entire program are at an EASY PACE. If you finish each repetition out of breath and don’t believe you can carry on you are running too fast. Initially it may be just over a walking pace.
The RECOVERY WALKS are just that; they are the periods to rest before the next repetition.
Treadmill setting: set the incline to 1% from day one to closer equate to outdoor running.
