Vegega Garden Raised Beds 32" Corrugated Metal Raised Beds

The Vegega Modular Steel Garden Bed system offers incredible versatility and longevity in an attractive, agricultural corrugated design that will appeal to a lot of gardeners. The flat-packed sectional kits are available to buy in a choice of bed heights and colours.

Watch me build a Vegega 32" tall modular 6 in 1 pack and combine panels with a Vegega 32" tall 42" round pack, to make two raised beds.

The steel panels have a combination Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium alloy coating applied to the steel sheet before the powder-coated colour layer and are guaranteed to last 20 years.

By purchasing multiple packs you can with a little imagination make almost any shape bed using these modular components. A range of special shape corners and angles are available from Vegega to facilitate this.

Top Tips for a Trouble-Free Build

1) Pick a dry, calm day as these are best built close to where the raised beds will sit.
2) Allow 45 minutes to an hour for each bed.
3) If possible work on a soft surface such as a lawn
4) Don't panic there are spare nuts bolts and washers provided
5) The tool provided for tightening nuts works well, but if you have a ratchet socket tool it will save time, with 7 nuts and bolts per joint on these 32" packs.
6) A helper would be ideal (the poodle was useless!)
7) When the plastic protective coat has been removed from the panels, take care in bringing them together without sliding them over each other laterally. The powder coating can scratch if you are not careful at this stage of construction.
7) I could not reach the bottom bolt hole from above (only a problem if you're building 32" panels) but by fitting the top 4 rows to all sections, and tightening, I was safely able to flip the whole bed upside down, and easily fit the remaining 3 nuts and bolts to the new top of the bed joints. This worked really well.

First Impressions.

Build quality and finish Very good.
Instructions on both paper in packs and the website are excellent.
Ease of Build, no skills tools, or experience is required, but they are heavy and you need to be flexible to align and feed the bolts, washers, and nuts.
The 32' tall beds featured are MASSIVE and yes they are going to take a LOT of compost
