Sweet tea is simple and easy to make. Real southern sweet tea requires tea bags, sugar, and water. Sweet Tea is a staple drink on just about every table in the South.

Our video shows you how to make sweet tea straight from the south. In the south, making bad tasting sweet tea is close to a crime.

Want to make a southern person unhappy, tell them no sweet tea. Or better yet, tell them no sweet tea but you have unsweet tea and can bring sugar or artificial sweetener. Real southern sweet tea has to have the sugar melted into the tea while the liquid is hot or it just doesn't count.

So follow the video for directions for great southern sweet tea and impress your southern visitors. Get some lemon, a tall glass of ice, and sweet tea.....Yum! Yes, cornbread and sweet tea does count as a meal.
