Lifting weights for fat loss, women over 40

I ALWAYS recommend that women include weight training or strength training as part of their exercise routine if they are trying to lose weight. This applies to all women but especially women over 40 because by then you will have lost some muscle tissue. So you need to put the muscle back in that you have naturally lost over the years.

Fit over 40 is my channel to help women over 40 get and stay in shape. Exercise over 40 is a little different than in our younger days as we normally gain menopause belly fat and find it more difficult to lose weight over 40.
