This eccentric triangle pose variation is designed for a yoga practice that promotes strength and mobility, rather than passive flexibility or hypermobility. Start this yoga pose vinyasa flow by breathing in at the top, then exhale for 6 seconds as you hinge to a half-way position with a neutral spine. Then pause at that position and hold the breath for 2 seconds, and finally inhale as you rise back up for a count of 2. This trikonasana pose variation is meant to build end range strength in your personal active range of motion.
