How I Cured my Tennis Elbow Using Rubber Bands

I've been dealing with tennis elbow on and off for a few years. It's nearly impossible for me to get a good upper body lift going when I have a flare up with my elbow pain.

I've tried all the ice and rest I was willing to do so I decided to take a proactive approach to fixing my tennis elbow. I searched through as many forums I could until I came across something I haven't tried yet.

A rock climbing forum had people discussing the causes of tennis elbow, one forum user said it's caused by the flexors in your forearm overpowering the extensors. I'm sure there are more causes than just muscular imbalance but I was willing to try anything.

I created a makeshift extensor strengthener by using rubber bands and it seems to be helping with my tennis elbow. I can't say it's 100%, but I can say it's well on its way, and I'll be doing this several times per week for the foreseeable future.
