How to get Motivated for a Home Workout

There are really 3 methods to get motivated for a home workout.

The first way is to get emotional. Maybe the excitement you feel when someone notices your progress, or when you hit a new PR, or when you clothes fit differently made you want to continue. Focus on these positive emotions and build off of them.

You can also draw on your negative emotions. Maybe it was something that upset you, or the negative feelings that come with dissatisfaction. You can use these to motivate you to push yourself and want to change. Exercise can be a cathartic release of negative emotions.

The second way to get motivated for a home workout is to find an accountability partner. You should find someone with the same goals that you can lean on in times that you're struggling.

The last method to get motivated for a home workout is just to start doing it. Once you start you're going to realize it's no so bad, so you'll want to finish. After you finish enough workouts, and start to feel some success, you'll want to continue. Success begets success.
