Sire L7 - Les Paul - PRS 535 Comparison

Sire L7 compared to Gibson Les Paul and PRS McCarty 535.

Clean amp - Dr. Z EZG-50 into a Dr. Z 1x12 cab (closed back) with a Marshall branded Celestion V30 speaker. Mci'd with a SE Electronics X1R mic from about 8" away.

Distorted amp - DR. Z CAZ-45 into a 4x12 in the room, but the mic'd sound is coming from a Neve DI from the speaker out to an IR in a Universal Audio Apollo interface.

Both amps were set lower than what would work with a medium loud live drummer.

Gibson Les Paul Standard (2005) with Throbak SLE-101 plus pickups and 50's wiring harness.
Gibson Les Paul Custom (2019) stock Gibson 490R/498t pickups.
