DR Z Antidote and EMS Led Zeppelin Tones 🤘

Les Paul samples Zep samples with a couple Dr. Z amps.

Pickups in the Les Paul are the Throbak SLE-101 plus model. Can't say enough good things about them.

Guitar - 2004 Les Paul standard (50's neck).

Antidote - set loud, record amp DI out to Warm Audio DI and using a Universal Audio plugin for the IR (Friedman BE100 sim, preset 49). Basically you can bypass the preamp and power amp and just use the IR. Works very well.

EMS - Sure 57 and Sennheiser 421 on a Marshall 1960ax cab (greenbacks) and a couple Warm Audio 87 mics sent Blumlein for the room sound. Audient ASP-880 mic pre (really like those).

No EQ or compression on the guitars. EXCEPT - the really loud part where I dig into the A string on the bridge pickup, I had to add some compression on that because it was too loud and would have made the whole video set quieter on YT. Basically the compressor never engaged except for that part, and it dropped the DB level about 4db there. The rest of it has no compression at all.
