We're Portsmouth City, We're On Our Way Back | Season ending overview

An unbelievable ending to the season for Portsmouth FC. A little video I put together for my final project on a Level 3 Media Course at Banbury and Bicester College.

04/03/17 - A 1-0 defeat at home to Crewe Alexandra saw fans understandably deflated again. From winning the FA Cup in 2008 after a season of playing against the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Only to be making the long journeys to play away games at places like Carlisle, Hartlepool and Accrington Stanley a few years down the line instead.

After the loss against Crewe Alexandra, the boys in blue had 11 games before their final test of the season. Cheltenham at home - and in 5th place, trailing 13 points behind table leaders Doncaster. Was there something special in store approaching Portsmouth?
