Hierapolis and Pamukkale are in Turkey’s top 10 tourist attractions for good reason. In today’s vlog we are going to show you the best of Pamukkale and Hierapolis and why they would be on any list of the worlds best places to visit before you die. We have loved exploring the south west of turkey and know some might be hesitant to the idea of renting a car in Turkey but getting to see and experience natural wonders of the world are worth braving the road. The aqua hot springs of the cotton castle offer some of the best natural thermal pools in the world. Pamukkale is called the cotton castle because from afar it looks like a castle of cotton up on the hillside. Hierapolis is an ancient Roman spa city and the coolest swimming spot we have ever been to. The travertine pools are actually thermal hot springs that have been flowing since before ancient Roman times and the ruins of the city of Hierapolis are magnificent and so worth exploring. We hope you enjoy exploring this area of south west turkey with us at one of the coolest attractions in Turkey.
