Heated Rant Against Those Claiming Intermittent Fasting Is Dangerous

There are many people that say intermittent fasting is dangerous, and many of these people don't even have a valid argument against IF ( intermittent fasting ) that makes sense, or is grounded in factual evidence to back their claim(s). Intermittent fasting, just like almost anything in life, can be dangerous if done improperly or haphazardly. In the same way that driving a car irresponsibly can threaten your life ( and others ), intermittent fasting if not done properly, can also be dangerous.

The key is to do things right. Knowledge is indeed power. You need to make sure you are getting enough calories, from the right food sources. I suggest eating to satiety. Have as much of the right whole foods as you want, and you will be just fine. Just make sure to get enough food to support your bodies energy requirements. You can easily find how many calories your body needs by getting a free calorie calculator. You can easily find these by typing " Free calorie calculator " on google, duckduckgo, or another search engine. This is not rocket science and to quote the famous military quote " proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance. "

I personally need around 2,200 calories per day to maintain muscle mass whilst simultaneously promoting fat loss. On a good day I am eating between 2,200 & 2,400 calories. I get a ton of quality animal fat & protein from the meat I eat, & my carbohydrates from fruits, potatoes ( mostly sweet potatoes nowadays ), & lentils & beans. I tend to only eat beans once to twice a week. I also make sure to give my body plenty of raw food, such as raw homegrown microgreens & sprouts such as alfalfa, sunflower sprouts, arugula microgreens, clover, radish sprouts, etc.

From time to time I will also grow my own bean sprouts from mung beans. Unlike many ex vegans that left veganism, I am still a huge advocate of eating raw greens, so long as you do not have autoimmune flare ups from eating them, or some other non salubrious reaction. I have found that for those who have trouble tolerating greens, ripe seasonal fruit usually gives them zero flare ups or issues. I drink goat milk, and I almost always have one of my venom shakes every night either to break my fast before I eat my solid meals, or as desert to close the eating window.

Intermittent fasting, if done properly, is life changing. You can lose weight, build muscle, promote growth via the production & secretion of endogenous HGH ( Human growth hormone ), stimulate neurogenesis, activate autophagy, & learn discipline. These are just a small number of the innumerable health benefits of intermittent fasting if done properly.

Dont let people fool you. The blind lead the blind & they most likely always will. Those bashing intermittent fasting most likely don't have years of experience with it, and or they are trying to sell you something. Again, not to be repetitive, but absorb knowledge on how to properly fast prior to doing it. This will save you any and all troubles that come from not having knowledge on how to fast properly.
