"The Walls": A Missouri Prison Documentary 168 Years In The Making

Welcome to the documentary trailer for the Missouri State Penitentiary! This institution was constructed in 1836 - The same time that the Battle of the Alamo was going on. In fact, it housed prisoners 100 years before Alcatraz! Over the years, 40 executions took place within these walls - 39 of them in the gas chamber, with many more deaths due to prisoner violence, and even a parking lot with hundreds of souls buried beneath. In the 1960s, Time Magazine called this place "The Bloodiest 47 Acres In America".

The penitentiary closed its doors to the prisoners in 2004, however nowadays it is as active as ever with tours, and many reports of paranormal activity!

This will be a full-length documentary that will cover the rich history of the penitentiary and include interviews of the former warden, prison guards, prisoners, and current tour guides.

While much of the production will take place in the day, our film crew will even be staying overnight and also do a few reenactments. There will also be some extras that I will announce soon.

I hope this trailer will pique your interest in the full production, and can't wait to bring the rich history to you from the Missouri State Penitentiary!

Please Note: Due to some unexpected insurance requirements by the State of Missouri, I had to cancel the 2015 production, but don't worry... I am still working on it, so please subscribe to my channel so you can keep up to date on the news!
