🔥 Siemens Process Simulate + OPC UA | 200 Rotary Tables and 4,000 Signals Connected
🔥 Siemens Process Simulate + OPC UA | 200 Rotary Tables and 4,000 Signals Connected
In this video, I show how quickly hundreds of rotary tables in Siemens Process Simulate can be connected to thousands of signals using OPC UA. First, I set up the OPC UA server, then I import the signals directly into the simulation. After that, I use the Connect Signals function to automatically link all rotary tables with their matching signals.
In this example, the cell contains around 200 rotary tables, each with about 20 signals, which means roughly 4,000 signals in total. And the impressive part is that all of this can be connected cleanly with just a few clicks.
Afterwards, I show how the rotary tables can be controlled easily through variables. At the end of the video, the full simulation is running and all 200 rotary tables are moving at the same time. This demonstrates not only how efficient the signal connection workflow is, but also that even large-scale models in Process Simulate can run with very solid performance.
