Sky Island Adventures Episode 5
Road trip from Arizona to Oklahoma, and back.

My friend and frequent travel companion Jesse Greene invited me to go along with him to visit his parents in Oklahoma on the historic family property. It was really neat to see his parents again and to meet all of his extended family. A bug lover himself, his whole life, his passion has spilled over to his parents and cousins and we had an entire crew helping us to see the bugs of NE Oklahoma!

Jesse moved down to nearby Patagonia, AZ with his fiance at the same time I moved to Sonoita, Arizona early this summer of 2021. Our late summer road trip to Oklahoma took us through New Mexico and part of Texas. It's a region of the country I had never seen before and, it being bug season, the frequent stops along the way there and back were full of surprises. And we lived to tell the story!

This video is a tribute to the hospitality his family showed us, and to Jesse who always cracks me up on our buggy road trips.
