Andrew Collins is author of the new book 'The First Female Pharaoh' exploring the mysteries of Sobekneferu and ancient temples and pyramids related to her reign. In this interview we take a close look at Qasr el Sagha, also known as the 'Crocodile Temple' which has huge polygonal construction on par with the Osirion at Abydos and the Valley Temple on the Giza Plateau. Sobekneferu was also connected to the Labyrinth of Hawara and was hugely influential in Egypt and even up until Victorian occult circles in London and beyond.
