Arrangements in full swing for 'Telangana Rising Summit'

The state government is organizing the prestigious 'Telangana Rising Global Summit 2047' on the 8th and 9th of this month. With the 'Telangana Rising' theme, the state government is bringing prominent industry leaders, innovators, policy makers, celebrities from the film, sports and education sectors, foreign ambassadors and experts from various fields on one platform.

The state government has sent invitations to about 4,800 people to participate in the summit. Government sources say that more than 600 national and international celebrities have already expressed their readiness. The government is estimating that more than 2,000 guests will attend. It is expected that key discussions on the future of Telangana and agreements related to investments worth over Rs. 1 lakh crore will be held during the two-day conference.

As part of the conference, discussions will be held with industrialists and experts from various sectors on action plans to be taken to reach the state's economic growth of 3 trillion dollars by 2047. Experts from relevant sectors will mainly discuss issues such as pollution-free (net zero), semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, skilled human resource development, women's economic development, growth of agro-based industries, sports development, and so on. In the context of national and international dignitaries attending the conference, necessary strong measures are being taken to prevent any untoward incidents and to prevent any inconvenience to the guests. The guests participating in the summit, which will begin on December 8 at Future City, will be entertained by diverse cultural and artistic performances. As part of this, prominent
Music Director Keeravani will entertain with a 30-minute musical concert. Renowned scholar P. Jayalakshmi will play the veena, Perani dance under the direction of Kala Krishna, and a performance by magician Samala Venu will be special attractions. The government has arranged free buses to transport interested participants to the conference venue. “These will run from 1 am to 1 pm (for departure) and from 4 pm to 9 pm (for return). They will be available from MGBS, JBS, Kukatpally, Charminar and LB Nagar,” the summit organisers said in a statement on Thursday.
