Deep Hip Stretch For Emotional Release & Stress | 15 Minute Restorative Yoga

This yoga deep hip stretch for emotional release is a great way to let go of built up stress and stagnant energy within the hips. This restorative yoga stretch routine is great for anyone feeling stressed or heavy emotionally and or feeling tense physically.
The hips are an area of the body that hold a lot of our physical stress along with our emotional stress which often results in tension and tightness within the hips. The front of the hips representing fear of future and the back of the hips representing the past. Many times when working with deep hip openers we feel emotion starting to surface, sometimes it is unexpected and we start to either cry or feel angry and at times we may feel an overwhelming abundance of joy. This practice is here for you to truly let go and allow these emotions to surface and break free.
The longer you hold your arms out in front of you the heavier they feel. The same goes for our built up emotional stress.
