Let’s talk about why self-amusement is so important for your game. Self-amusement is when your thoughts and actions are derived from yourself. You tell a joke when doing self-amusement not to make a girl laugh, but because you find it funny and you want to share it with her. It’s like you’re a party, you’re having a lot of fun. You have a lot of people there, but you also don’t mind if more people joined.

Let’s use children as an example of self-amusement. The reason why children are so liked by most people is because they’re self-amused. They have their own imagination to go into. They create their own world to have fun without needing anybody else.

When you use self-amusement, you don’t care what a girl thinks. When you act and say something to her, you don’t do so because you want to get a reaction out of her. You do it because it makes you feel good.

Rather than gaming her, you’re gaming yourself. It makes you the life of the party because you have a party inside. Most people don’t have that so they depend on others to make them feel good. They need other people to support them and give them validation.

On the other hand, you are your own validation. You are your own source of positive emotions. When people meet you, they’ll want to hang out with you because you have what they need. It’s almost as though you’re coming in with a full cup.

In order to be self-amused, you have to be a fun person. No one who’s self-amused is not fun. Self-amusement makes you a naturally fun person. People will be affected by it because there’s something that’s called your mirror neurons.

Mirror neurons give you the ability to feel empathy towards other people. When you’re interacting with someone who’s having fun, you’ll naturally feel a lot more alive.

Being self-amused means deriving your own positive emotions from yourself. You don’t need her to make you feel good. You don’t need her to validate you. You have your own self to validate yourself.
