Can You Record A Conversation in Arizona Without The Other Person's Knowledge?

In this video, we discuss the legalities of recording conversations and explain under what circumstances you can record someone without their knowledge in Arizona. SUPPLEMENTAL NOTE: There are a minority of family court judges that will find it to be contrary to the best interests of the children to surreptitiously record conversations with the other parent. Also note if you are in Arizona but are speaking with someone in another state in which it is illegal to have a conversation without everyone being apprised, you may run in to legal issues. Finally note that for certain classes of persons, such as attorneys, it may be unethical, even if otherwise legal, to surreptitiously record a conversation with another person.
