My perfect winter bike - upgraded! The Priority Continuum Onyx

For three winters I happily rode the Priority Continuum as my perfect winter bike. Why was it my perfect winter bike? Because the biggest enemy in winter in my city is rust, and the bike had five rust-fighting elements:
1. Aluminium frame.
2. Disc brakes.
3. Gates carbon belt drive.
4. Nuvinci internal hub gears.
5. On overall weather hardiness.

But then I realized the company had been hard at work improving the Continuum. The result was a new, improved bike: the Priority Continuum Onyx, so I quickly dropped my money and got my hands on one.

I’ve been riding it for the past few weeks through a Canadian winter. Here are some of the improvements and upgrades, and my thoughts about advancements to what I've been calling my perfect winter bike.
