An iconic piece in the literature of sacred music that lends itself well to highlighting the phonic possibilities of an organ recently restored in Italy. Specifically, it is located in the Basilica Co-Cathedral of Fossano, in the province of Cuneo.
The organ, originally built by Serassi in 1791, is today the result of a long history of expansions that have taken place over the years, by the hand of other organ builders, such as: Vegezzi-Bossi, Tamburini and, finally, in 2024 Francesco Zanin.
