🏃🏾‍♀️ Cardio is a great way to burn some additional calories AND increase your cardiovascular 🫀 health.

🏋🏾‍♀️ HIIT IS an excellent tool for overall conditioning

AND

Both are a great part of a well balanced weight loss program.

HOWEVER Cardio and HIIT are not the end all be all for weight-loss.

While we’re at it, neither is eating an extremely low calorie diet.

That will bite you in the butt later, but that’s another post for another time 😉

💪🏾 🏋🏾‍♀️ WEIGHT LIFTING is an INTEGRAL part of SUSTAINABLE WEIGHT LOSS,

💪🏾 Bc the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn 🔥 at rest .

You won’t get bulky ( unless you start taking supplements and train like it’s your job)

You won’t look manly, in FACT

That “ TONED” look, you’re looking for, can only happen if you build muscle.
So IN ADDITION to cardio, hiit and a caloric deficit, be sure to Incorporate some weight training!
