Spectacular Holiday Model Train Layout with Thomas & Friends plus Minions

The Brandywine Railroad has been a holiday tradition for families in the greater Philadelphia area for four decades.

Since 1972, the Brandywine River Museum of Art has installed an elaborate model train exhibition as part of their annual holiday celebrations. The O-gauge display features trains made by Lionel, K-line, Williams, Atlas and others running on 2000 feet of track. Passenger and freight trains, steam locomotives, even trolleys travel through bridges, a tunnel and past a farm, carnival, freight yards and retro-styled small town America.

Children delight in the details - the town decked out in tiny Christmas lights, a running waterfall, drive-in movie theater, a UFO, plus several sightings of Santa Claus. Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends Percy, Gordon and Toby also can be found chuffing along the tracks.
