"Art Museum" - Peter Bear Adventures (Episode 1)
Come along with Peter Bear (Beertje Peet) as he visits the Brandywine River Art Museum. The museum, located in Chadds Ford, PA, is truly magical during the winter holiday season.
Brandywine Christmas features a showcase of festive Christmas trees decorated with unique, handmade "critter ornaments" created from natural materials such as pine cones, nut shells, seed pods, flowers and husks.
The highlight is the Brandywine Railways exhibition - an elaborate O gauge model train display with 2000 feet of track. Passenger and freight trains, steam locomotives, even trolleys travel through bridges, a tunnel and past a farm, carnival, freight yards and retro-styled small town America.
The museum's art collection includes works by three generations of the Wyeth family, plus other notable American artists. On current exhibition (through January 7, 2018) is the video installation "highwatermarks" by Dylan Gauthier.

Who is Peter Bear?
Peter Bear (or 'Beertje Peet' in Dutch) is named after our son's Opa (Dutch for grandpa), who we lost to a rare cancer in 2014. When he simultaneously met and said goodbye to his youngest grandchild, Peter gifted him a special toy bear.
Now, Peet travels in spirit on adventures with a three-year-old Dutch-American boy as he grows up on East coast of the United States.
