This song is about coming together as a community to help nourish an expecting mother. The bonds we share are the ones that help us live longer healthier lives. We urge you to look out for the people in your cities and towns who are in dire need of assistance. Times are hardest on the poorest amongst us and will only worsen over the weeks to come. Daily wagers who have not had work from 10-15 days are hit the hardest. Asim Siddiqui, our friend and #teamufp member is helping track people in need of food. Here is what he is suggesting:
1. The most important thing right now is to know how many people/communities are vulnerable,who will require dry ration packets so that they can survive the next 7-10 days.
2. Secondly, looking for volunteers who can get resources with the help of local law enforcement
3. More than generating funds, it is important to know which are the small and big grocery shops that can help you with making dry ration packets that will help a family of 4-5 to survive for a week.
