Charyn Canyon Kazakhstan | What To Expect When You Visit Almaty?

When you visit Kazakhstan during off season, like me, you have to keep a buffer and be prepared for any change in plans. You have to be flexible and fluid. And that what you can Expect When You Visit Almaty during off-peak season. We changed our plans and went to visit Charyn Canyon Kazakhstan, however, we couldn't. Not originally at least. We could visit it the next day, which made our day super long and hectic. We couldn't even hike the entire trail and get to the Charyn River.

Make sure you have at least 4 hour to properly marvel, view, explore, take pics, videos and hike this place! When you climb down into the valley, you'll feel consumed by the vastness and magnificence of the Charyn canyon. I have no clue how you'd get here on public transportation but you can ether drive here, during summer months or get a private guide/driver for your trip (that's what I did), or you can join any of the group tours that you can find online, such as on www.viator.com or www.getyourguide.com.

I'll just say it is a stunning place and there's not much to this video except marveling at how beautiful and different this structure is. If you haven't seen any canyons in your life, you will be amazed!
