Korean dramas (or K-dramas for short) are hugely popular in Asia. Examples of successful TV-dramas from South Korea include "My Love from the Star" in 2013 and "Descendant of the Sun" in 2016. They are mostly enjoyed by female viewers. One could occasionally however, find people who take them too literally and confuse between TV and reality, like this girl in the video.
