The song “The Prose of My Father” is originally performed by the female Chinese singer Xu Fei. Here it is covered by the famous ballad singer Li Jian. The video is taken from SINGER 2017, a Chinese singing competition program that features veteran Asian singers from Asia and eliminates one every week based on their performance. Other than Chinese musicians, the program also have had participants from Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and even Kazakhstan (Dimash Kudaibergen in the current season).
