Ordinary bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula (Linnaeus, 1758)) is a songbird of the genus of bullfinches (Pyrrhula) in the finch family.

Its food is mainly seeds, buds, some arachnides and berries (in particular, rowan). Feeding on berries, bullfinch eats seeds from them, leaving the flesh. Bullfinches feed nestlings mainly vegetable food, adding insects and berries.

At our latitudes (Kharkiv region, Ukraine) these birds only winter or stay during autumn and spring migrations.

The video was made on the 2nd of April, 2017 in the territory of national nature park "Gomilshansky Lissy". According to experts, spring migration can last until early May. If the fact of nesting of the species was recorded in the territory of the "Gomilshansky Lissy" national nature park, this would be the first nesting of a bullfinch in the left-bank Ukraine.
