BSL018 Fluke 1507 Insulation Resistance Tester

This is a review of a Fluke 1507 Insulation Tester. This insulation tester provided testing unto 10Gohms, and test voltages of 1000V, 500V, 250V, 100V and 50V.

This insulation resistance tester provided only very basic meter functionality of Voltage, Ohms, and Insulation resistance. Fluke does offer a combination Insulation Resistance tester and Digital Multimeter (DMM), however it's insulation resistance measurement range is very limited compared to the Fluke 1507.

While Megger offer insulation resistance testers with a reasonable DMM functionality, the Fluke meters are more task specific and therefore two meters considered. The cost difference in this case may make the Megger more attractive price-wise.
