UT500 Series Insulation Resistance and Continuity Tester / UT501 UT502 vs UT502A UT501A / How to use

UT500 Series are testers for Gigaohms, or well know as mega ohmmeter. Some times we wonder what are the difference between the models? The answer is models A have continuity test while models without the A have a 1000VDC voltmeter. Also UT501 test up to 1KV and UT502 does to 2,5KV. This kind of meters are good for the electronics workbench. For heave duty and highest insulation tester there is UT511, UT512 and UT513 well recommended as profesional equipment with test up to 5KV and use in electrical power testings.
