MUM HAS CANCER

Mum has breast cancer...

it was a massive shock finding out, and everything happens so fast (luckily), so after Mum had the operation to remove the tumour I recorded a bit of each day, as she asked me to document the process and her recovery. The tumour was very deep in her right breast, luckily Mum went for the screening as they said she wouldn't have felt anything until it was really really big.

Mum was extremely tired and in lots of pain, and still is now, but getting better... although it has been a lot worse than she expected.

Mum was sleeping lots and doing minimal movement, especially in the first few days, which was hard as she is always on the go, and felt not at all herself.

After a few days she came downstairs and felt more normal, but is still in a lot of pain even now, it is really hard to see but also incredibly inspiring as Mum has been so so strong and just taken everything that has come to her and fought back and carried on no matter what.

I have been doing a lot whilst Mum has been unwell, which is why I haven't been uploading or filming so much. It has made me really see everything so differently, and made our whole family appreciate the small, wonderful things in life and just how much we took everything Mum does for granted (even waking up at 5am and doing lunches is hard work!).

Mum wanted to do taste tests as she loves food and can't do much, and it is rather boring staying in all day when you're used to doing lots. I was deffo up for that, and it was fun!

I will be posting more videos, and Mum is doing well. Still in a lot of pain, but she can use her arm more now! Hopefully she will be pain free soon. It has been awful seeing her in pain and not being able to stop it.

Mum, you are the greatest. You are strong, you are beautiful, and I know you will do it. I always know that whatever challenges you face, you conquer them. And everything that happens you always see in a positive light. It is incredible, and so are you.

Cancer can get lost. And it will, forever.
