This lovely piece - "Infanzia E Maturità" - is from Signor Morricone's music for the film "Cinema Paradiso", a 1988 Italian drama film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. The plot of Cinema Paradiso is loosely based on the story of the Protti family, who have owned a movie theatre in Mantua, Italy, since 1904. The film stars Jacques Perrin, Philippe Noiret, Leopoldo Trieste, Marco Leonardi, Agnese Nano and Salvatore Cascio, and was produced by Franco Cristaldi and Giovanna Romagnoli, while the music score was composed by Ennio Morricone along with his son, Andrea. It won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 62nd Academy Awards.

I was experimenting again here with my new drone: DJI Mavic Air 2. Considering its small sensor and the high dynamic range of this difficult scene - wherein I was shooting into direct sunlight at close - it is very impressive I think.

It is a zoomed and panned image - shot in 180° Panorama (7x3) still photo mode - of my village in the Derbyshire Peak District, England. Shot in RAW, all 21 images were merged and post-processed in Lightroom, and exported as a single jpeg. Dimensions of the jpeg file: 13037 x 4850 pixels.

Of course, you can only see the true output of this drone in 4k resolution if you have a 4k monitor!
