‘Time for a new era’: Jacinta Price calls for Australians to ‘step away’ from grievance

Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians Jacinta Nampijinpa Price says it is “time for a new era” and has called for Australians to step away from grievance.

The Voice to Parliament is projected for defeat in all states across the country.

“I think it’s time for a new era in Indigenous policy, in the Indigenous narrative, we have to step away from grievance,” Ms Price said during a press conference on Saturday.

“Attempting to bring about change through grievance has evidently got us nowhere.

“It’s time to accept that we are all part of the fabric of this nation, that Indigenous Australians are also citizens.”
