Ice Cream Recipe

In this video, April makes a recipe for Ice Cream balls that are coated with pecans, then drenched in rich chocolate sauce. What is better than Vanilla ice Cream, Pecans, and Chocolate? This makes a a yummy summertime treat that you can actually make ahead!

Ingredients:

- 4 Big Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1 Cup Pecans, toasted and chopped
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 Cup Half and half
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbls Butter

Directions:

1) Roll each scoop of ice cream in pecans, place each ball on an individual bowl or plate and place in the freezer.

2) Fill a medium saucepan with about 1 cup of water, and place over medium heat.

3) Place a glass bowl on top of the saucepan, then add the chocolate chips, half and half, salt, and vanilla to the bowl. Stir until all of the chocolate has melted.

4) Once sauce has melted together, remove from heat and add the butter, stir until melted

5) Spoon the warm sauce over each ice cream ball and top with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
