Eating DELICIOUS Thai food in Chinatown London
DELICIOUS Thai food in Chinatown London 🇹🇭 Finally went to SpeedboatBar on Rupert Street, a stone throw’s away from @ChinatownLondon, for zesty, spicy and tangy Thai food. I already want to plan another visit asap!
Inspired by Bangkok’s late night canteens in their own Chinatown, you can get 3 litre Singha beer towers, sharing small plates to curries and stir fries! The team are fab, the venue is a LOT of fun and the upstairs bar is open until 1am with disco lights, Thai pop, rock music and a selection of their dishes to enjoy as a late night bite.
Tables can be booked online and groups of 4 can have up to 1.5 hours per sitting. This isn’t part of a brand deal - all paying customers and we shared between us! In fact, we loved it so much - H nearly bought the Speedboat Bar souvenir tshirt to take home 😂
We ordered:
- *Chicken Skins with Zaep Seasoning £5.50
- *Prawn Ceviche with Seafood Dressing £13.50 (My favourite, raw prawns are so sweet and this PACKS the heat)
- Sweetcorn Fritters £8
- Pickled Mustard Greens & Chinese Sausage £11
- Naem Fried Rice £11
- *Tom Yam Mama Noodles, Squid, Pork & Prawns £29
- Egg Noodles with Red Roast Pork & Prawn Wonton £16
- *Beef Tongue & Tendon Curry £14
- *Green Mango Tequila & Pickled Fruit Chaser £4
- *Phed Pokati Margarita (Green Mango Cazcabel Tequila, Makrut Li me Leaf, Green Chilli, Amchoor Salt) £12
*My absolute must orders!
