Can you believe it’s already time for Back to School?? In today’s episode of #BehindTheBraids, you’ll see Rylan, Dax and Paisley get ready for their first day back to DIGITAL school. Brooklyn also gets tested for COVID-19 before heading back to Waco to attend her #SeniorYear at Baylor. Have you started school yet? 🤓

#BacktToSchool always starts with our favorite tradition... first day of school pictures! It’s so crazy that there are only 3 kids left in the house! I love seeing my kids grow and take on new adventures, but I can’t help but miss Kamri, Brooklyn and Bailey on days like this! That’s why I love taking back-to-school pictures...gives me pictures of some of my favorite memories that I’ll treasure forever ❤️

You’ll also see Shaun cook our kids’ favorite breakfast: Hole in One’s! Have you ever made this? If not, watch the video for the recipe. We also had a classic Texas thunderstorm...with a bit of a twist! The weather got intense even for Texas, and we ended up losing power for a few hours and a couple of tree branches in our yard. 🌳 Turned out we had a #tornado just 4 miles away.

So many schools, especially colleges, have created rigorous guidelines for returning back to campus given the pandemic. Baylor has done such an awesome job keeping parents and students informed. The university is requiring all students to get COVID-19 tested before returning for their fall semester, so Brooklyn takes you with her while she gets her test done. The test was super quick, and she got her results pretty fast. She tested negative, and is so excited to head back to Waco for her senior year of college!
