Last Day of School 2019 & GLOW IN THE DARK Foam Pool Party!

In this week’s #BehindTheBraids vlog, you'll see all of our family’s end-of-school-year May madness!! Awards ceremonies, pool parties, and lots of friends! When is your last day of school?? 🤗

Since Paisley finished 2nd grade this year, it was her turn to have a Bug Ball with her class! Basically, every kid makes a fun hat that incorporates one of their favorite bugs that they have researched for their end of year project. There are loads of snacks and activities, all themed around BUGS! It’s super adorable, and a nice redemption from Dax’s Bug Ball… where we completely forgot to even make him a hat… 🙈 mom fail!

You’ll also see Brooklyn and I speak at the Texas Women’s Foundation! We had the best time, and we were able to meet so many amazing young women! We were dodging some serious rain the whole time, it’s just that time of year in Texas where we see rain and storms almost every week!

We made it to all of our kid’s #endofschoolyear award ceremonies (there were a TON). We’re so proud of our kids for trying so hard in school, and consistently making such fantastic grades! 🤓

Lastly, you’ll see the family hanging out with some of our best friends on Memorial Day! We love days where we can just sit by the pool, cookout, and catch up with all of our favorite people. Kamri and her friends also had a pool party on the last day of school! The kids always have the best time when we bring out the foam machine, and this time we even had some glow in the dark bubbles! How many of you would like to try that?
