Mindset Shift for Weight Loss (How I Did It) | 4 Tips
In this video, I am revealing the mindset shift that helped me lose the weight and keep it off. There is no weight loss hypnosis here and forget about a weight loss diet. I am going to show you how to build HABITS so you can keep the weight off for good and find self confidence.
I have been the fat guy. I have been low. I know what it feels like to hate who you see in the mirror. My weight loss tips are from experience and being at rock bottom.
Weight loss is 10% diet / exercise and 90% mental. A weight loss diet and weight loss workout both have the goal to do one thing. That is put you in a calorie deficit (eat less than you burn). It is simple my friends. You need to shift your mindset.
The weight loss mindset is the only difference from those who have a successful weight loss transformation.
1) Don't Fear Failure (take the first step)
- this will build a snowball effect and you will find reinforcement in PROGRESS
2) No All or Nothing Mindset
- this kills weight loss goals because you need not be all in or all out so make room for slip ups and stop saying you'll "get back on Monday"
3) Stop Labelling Foods
- You are doing yourself a disservice by eliminating foods so no foods are off limits but you must understand that being in a calorie deficit is all you need (whatever food that is)
4) Motivation vs Discipline
- motivation doesn't last but discipline does so build some new habits and get used to doing things when you do not feel like it because that will get you to your goal while motivation is only short lived
