We built a kids bike to look like a Lamborghini. Mum had to approve too 🤘

We teamed up with the Jake n Josh channel and Cycle Sprog to really get to grips with how to custom build for a youth Mountain Bike. Approaching his early teens our rider wanted a bike for everything, but his mum needed reassurance this was going to be the right bike. So, we called in the experts!

Our friends at Jake n Josh provided some quality jump and trick testing and helped us get the geometry sorted. Then our friends at Cycle Sprog gave us their take as parents and family cycling experts.

Drive Train: Box Components Four (8 Speed 11-42) (Shifter, Mech, Cassette & Chain)
ChainSet: SALT 157mm cranks with 19mm Axle
Chainring: Profile Racing 28t (Check that chainring takes 3/32" chains, not just single speed chains)
Bottom Bracket: Gussett Euro BB for 19mm Axle.
Pedals: SALT
Seat Clamp: Box Components
Headset converter: FSA
