What Will Gravitational Waves Tell Us? | Kip Thorne
Kip Thorne is an American theoretical physicist, known for his contributions in gravitational physics and astrophysics. His work inspired the film "Interstellar" and he previously worked on the 1997 film "Contact" starring Jodie Foster. Thorne was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2017 in Physics along with Rainer Weiss and Barry C. Barish "for decisive contributions to the LIGO detector and the observation of gravitational waves".
