Ian Bentley is Emeritus Professor at the Joint Centre for Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University. He has a background in architecture and property development. In addition to Responsive Environments he authored Urban Transformations (1999) and, with Georgia Butina-Watson, Identity by Design (2007)
